These aren't the 'sit and smile for the camera' type of sessions. Kids won't sit still? Let them explore, chase them, tickle them. Taking photos with your partner? Be prepared to get barefoot, piggyback, or roll around in the sand. Senior portraits? Let's go on an adventure! Every session is unique to you and your story, and takes into account not just posing and lighting, but also emotions and movement and the environment around you. to create images you can FEEL every square inch of! How does it
work?
When the new parent sleep deprivation kicks in, when the kids are off to college, or when the honeymoon is over, looking back at these images will be priceless. Hang your wall art, flip through your album, and enjoy reflecting on this fleeting moment in time.
Step 6. Cherish your Memories
Two weeks later, after editing and retouching is complete, I will come to you to show you your final images for the first time! You'll cozy up for a slideshow. You'll get to see our heirloom product offerings, and this is when you'll make your purchasing decisions
Step 5. The Big Reveal
For around 1-2 hours, I will guide you through your session ensuring we get images that are not only flattering and breathtaking, but images that look authentic and effortless. I want you to leave your session glowing inside and out.
Step 4. Shoot Time!
If you opt for a session with hair and makeup, our hair and makeup artist is going to pamper you with a gorgeous makeover, which can be as natural or as glam as you want. Sit back and relax! You deserve it!
Step 3. Get Pampered
Once you're booked, we will work together to make your session tailored to match your personality and style. I will send you a detailed questionnaire, prep emails, and we'll text ideas back and forth until your session day!
Step 2. Planning
We'll chat on the phone for about 15-20 minutes about what you, your family, what sort of photos you're envisioning, and discuss details like session options, pricing and availability. If you're ready, we'll book your date!

Then we wear rain boots! Juneau is a rainforest after all. Sometimes we have to make the most of what mother nature gives us. If it sprinkles or drizzles, we can make some truly beautiful photos from it getting muddy and puddle jumping. However, I also want this to be a positive experience for everyone, so If it's pouring and windy, we will reschedule.

What if it rains?
The best time to book your session is ASAP to ensure availability. The best time to take your photos is when you are between 28-34 weeks. Your morning sickness has likely subsided and you likely have minimal swelling, so you are generally feeling your best and that will show in your photos.
When should I book my session?
Absolutely! They are an important part of you and your motherhood journey and absolutely deserve to be included in this experience if they want.
Can I bring my partner/kids?
I have photographed women of all ages, shapes and sizes and learned from some of the best photographers in the industry. During your session, I coach you into flattering positions, that accentuate your bump while flattering your figure. I will take a variety of images that capture the strength of motherhood, the silliness of family, and the beautiful longing that you have to meet your baby. You don’t need to know how to do anything but show up and trust the process.
