I am a published female portrait artist located in Alaska's capital city of Juneau.
I was born and raised in the rain forest of Alaska and while I don't care much for the rain, I'm constantly inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest: the fog, the muskeg, the wildflowers.
My passion for photography came from my love of my father's old school film cameras and my childhood obsession with National Geographic magazines. From a young age, I always wanted to explore the world, immerse myself in new cultures and document my journeys and the people I met along the way. The more time passed, the more I realized that while traveling the world is a fantastic thing to do, you don't need to venture to foreign lands to find interesting people with fantastic stories and unique beauty.
I believe every woman of every age, size, sexuality and nationality is beautiful in her own unique way. I have found my passion in combining each woman's unique femininity, and combining it with my own artistic expression, to create magazine-worthy images that last generations.
When I am not planning your portrait session, you'll find me wandering around a museum, eating peanut butter while watching zombie movies in my pajamas, or hanging out with my hubby and my two boys.
